I thought we would start a blog to help us keep in touch with friends and family.

We are having a great summer. The only problem is it is going by way too fast! I have enjoyed having the kids home. Elise and Conner are on the Orland Otter swim team. They really like swimming every morning. Jared, Elise, Conner, and Cameron have been doing Kenpo Karate for the past two years. The kids just tested for their half purple belt last week and hope to become full purple belts by the end of August. We are at Karate lessons 4 times a week. When Lindy is 4 I think mom will have to take karate lessons with her.

We had a great 4th of July. We spent the evening with Jared's family. His sister Krista & brother in law Scott were in town. We light off fireworks at our house. The kids had a blast!

Hey there Garrisons, The Herberts here. It was nice to read your blog. It's like a Christmas card in July! Doing good here just trying to stay cool. Have a good one time to get dinner ready. Later

Cheri,

You have inspired me once again. I have been wanting to do a blog for quite some time, just didn't want to do it on myspace or my business website and didn't know where else to go.

Your kids are getting so big! Hopefully, we will get to see them in person soon.

Hey Garrisons!
Thanks for the invite to blog along with everyone. Your kids are getting big! Everything is good with the Quiggles - we had a great 4th of July up at the cabin at Almanor, watched the fireworks from our boat (best view!) and took Tanner and Colby on some bike rides. They are both in soccer camp this week and will begin their regular soccer season next month. Tanner and Colby also raced in their first quad/atv race a few weeks ago at the Marysville motocross park - Tanner raced in the 8-12 age group and placed 3rd overall out of 15 kids. Heather is doing great and enjoying the summer, I changed jobs back in February and I'm managing a highway project on I-80 at Emigrant Gap - tough project but close to home and nice to be in the mountains all summer.
Take care and hope to see you sometime soon!!
