For the past 29 years my Aunt Rozann and Uncle Stanley have been taking their family to Pinecrest. As a kid I remember going up to their cabin in the summer on a few occasions and having a wonderful time. This year our family, my brother and his family, and my mom were invited to come.
There were a total of 20 people and 3 dogs in the cabin. The kids had a great time sleeping outside on the deck. A big thank you to uncle Adrian and his dog for sleeping outside with the kids.
We had such a great time playing at the river and at Pinecrest lake. We rented paddle boats and kayaks. It was the first time for me and my kids in a kayak. It was so much fun. Lindy even went for a little ride!
My Aunt Rozann has a special way of making everything so much fun for the kids. They had races on the tubes and there were several contests. She even held an award ceremony where each child was given an award. There was a smore making contest. Each kid came up with their unique concoction! Elise won the best smore and the dirtiest feet contest! Cameron was awarded the "Littlest Trooper" for going on the 2 hour hike around the lake. Conner was awarded the "Iron Man" also for going on the hike. Lindy even won an award for the littlest Pinecrest visitor!
We all had such a great time. The kids played together so well and truly enjoyed each others company. We will always have fond memories of this trip to Pinecrest.
