This past week we had planned on going to Arizona to see some family.  But, decided we did not want to make that long drive for such a short visit.  I ended up calling my friend and we went to her house in Monterey.  We had such a fantastic time.  We spent an evening at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk riding the rides and a couple of days on the beach.  It was a fantastic and very relaxing trip....just what we needed.
