We had a nice 4th of July weekend. On Friday I took the kids up to Turtle Bay in Redding. We had a great time. We saw the Dinosaur named Sue and the Lego exhibit. The kids wanted to come home and start building with their Lego's. It was really pretty impressive. Our favorite part was visiting the birds. Conner had one bird land on his head and stay there for a long time. I think it liked his hat. Lindy kept calling them her friends.
On the 4th we went to a pancake breakfast at church. The rest of the day we stayed home. We played some badminton and did our own fireworks in the evening. It was really kind of nice to have a quite relaxing day.
