It's great to be 8!

Cameron wanted to play the mummy wrap
game at his party.  So much entertainment
from a roll of toilet paper.

Cameron turned 8 on March 14th.  He is so excited to be 8 years old.  For one thing, he will be able to be baptized.  He will be baptized in April when Jared's Dad will be visiting from Utah.
Cameron will also be able to start going to cub scouts.  The boy can't wait and his first day is tomorrow.  Thank goodness the shirt arrived in the mail today.  You know what I will be doing tonight...sewing patches on the new shirt.
We had a party Friday night to celebrate Cameron's birthday.  He wanted a leprechaun party.  We had green hats, shamrock cupcakes, green decorations and a hunt for the leprechaun's pot of gold.  The kids loved it and it was a lot of fun.  On Sunday we had some family over to celebrate his birthday.  It was a very nice day and Cameron really enjoyed his birthday weekend.  My Grandfather sent Cameron a nice card with $20.  When Cameron opened it and saw the money he was so excited.  Then he said, "Maybe I should give the money to someone who is poor because I have so much."  Now that made my day.  Talk about a kid knowing the right thing to say to a mother who just put on two parties and bought him presents :)
