Pig Hearts
Today Jared visited Conner's 3rd grade class with pig hearts and lungs. One of our friends works for a meat processing plant and was able to bring the animal parts. His son is also in the class and it worked out perfect to have him help. Conner was so excited to have his Dad come. The kids were able to glove up and touch the hearts and lungs. They really loved it. It was a great experience for the kids. The animal parts didn't seem so gross once everyone learned how they work.

When you’re in the Orland ward you’re bound to see a pig heart at some point. I, myself, had a tour of the slaughter house in YW. :)
